“Granby Mining” Day 9

Day 9: April 23, 2007 Basic color on Granby Mural is now complete! Yesterday was another great day of work on the Granby mural and artist Dan McWilliams came by to observe the progress of his design. The first layer of color on all layers is now complete. What's left? Some refinements, touch up, a six inch border, signatures, and varnish; then we take down the scaffolding! We should be done by graduation day (May 19). Weather permitting, we will continue working on the mural on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from about 1:30 - 4:30. The weather forecast for tomorrow (Wednesday April 25) looks bad, so we are tentatively cancelling mural work tommorow. Feel free to pay us a visit anytime!
