City of Granby Mayor and Council

The Mayor and Council of the City of Granby work collaboratively to serve the best interests of our community. As dedicated leaders, they strive to protect the city’s assets while encouraging residents and businesses to actively participate in making Granby a thriving place to live and work.

The Mayor and Council members are elected officials serving on a rotating two-year election schedule:

• Odd years: Elect the Mayor, one South ward council seat, and one North ward council seat.

• Even years: Elect one South ward council seat and one North ward council seat.

If a seat becomes vacant before the end of a term, an appointment is made to complete that term. That seat will then be up for election at the next municipal election, regardless of the usual rotation.
